Fortuny Lamps

Redecorating is always fun...but nothing is worse than spending hours looking for the perfect lighting to end up paying for the same, typical lamp as your neighbor’s!

So, if you haven’t heard of Fortuny Lamps yet, you must go check it out! The lamps are perfect for any space - modern or traditional.

Spanish designer, Mariano Fortuny was originally a stage set designer who also worked as a painter, a sculptor, a photographer, an architect, and an inventor. He is the epitome of creativity! He completely modernized stage lighting and set design and created one of the first dimmer switches. Obviously Fortuny was an artistic genius in every aspect – he created a line of textiles, creating the most beautiful fabrics. He went on to design clothing for the one and only, Balenciaga. His gorgeous, unique fabric is what carries on his legacy.
Fortuny’s products were known for being perfectly styled, yet practical. LUCE GIUDECCA is the only boutique lighting in the world created exclusively with incomparable Fortuny fabric. The stunning frames and individually carved bone-beads and personally tied knots enhance the shade. The attention to detail is unbelievable!

Go to Fortuny’s website www.fortuny.com to see all the fabrics and lighting available! And if you’d rather see it in person…Fortuny’s factory and museum is the perfect excuse you’ve been looking for to visit Venice!
